Tropical Yosemite

Lying dormant in the heart of Bolivia is Refugio Los Volcanes. This idyllic preserve is characterized by its giant rock formations reminiscent of Northern California, in combination with the exotic jungle foliage typical of the country. 

The terrain is mesmerizing. Palm Trees sway in the shade of monolithic slabs. Butterflies float carelessly in the valleys. Waterfalls reward those who know the way through the labyrinth of trees. If you’re lucky, you may even find a jaguar print by the river bank.
