After the death of Salvation Mountain’s creator, Leonard Knight, the adobe and paint monument quickly began to deteriorate without its loving caretaker.

Droves of tourists swarm over the architectural marvel ignoring the designated paths and disregarding the site’s fragile condition.

Thankfully, supporters have organized to maintain the mountain, and with it, Knight’s message of God’s redemptive Love.
